St Augustine's Church, Penarth 4-6 December 2026
Each year, we have up to 50 Christmas trees in the church, decorated by local community groups, schools, businesses, charities, families or individuals. Last year we had over 1500 visitors to the Festival.
At the event, visitors come in to view the trees and then can vote on their favourite. There is a programme of music throughout.. Profits go to the 3 nominated charities and Ministry Area funds
Refreshments are in St Augustine's Parish Hall at the same time as the Festival, with seasonal preserves and cakes also on sale, plus Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, cards etc.
How to take part
If your family, business, group or organisation would like to put in a tree, please email xmastree1111@gmail.com at any time to go on the email list. Names need to be in by end of September for entry this year. Entering a tree is free.
